Title IX at Curtis
Curtis does not unlawfully discriminate against any person in any of its education programs and activities, including employment and admissions, on any basis prohibited by federal law, or other applicable law, including on the basis of sex or gender, and it does not tolerate discrimination or harassment on the basis of sex or gender.
Curtis complies with Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 (Title IX), and its implementing regulations, 20 U.S.C. 1681 et seq., which prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex in Curtis’s education programs and activities; the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery), as amended by the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA), which governs the policy related to Curtis’s response to sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking; the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex; and other applicable law.
