Katelyn Bouska

With performances described as “musically evocative” and a skill at engaging audiences in the musical dialogue, Katelyn Bouska is a frequent solo and collaborative musician who performs on clavichord, harpsichord, fortepiano, and modern piano in the United States and abroad, including venues in Canada, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the Philippines.

Dr. Bouska collaborates with emerging professional composers to bring their music to wider audiences. She is a founding member of the new music collective Human Resonance, which partners with composers to present their music at unique concert venues with a high degree of community involvement.

With her unique combination of performance practice expertise, long-term study of the Alexander Technique, and international study and performance, Dr. Bouska is in demand as a teacher. She holds a D.M.A. in piano performance, master’s degrees in piano pedagogy and harpsichord performance, and a professional studies certificate in chamber music, all from Temple University; and a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Viterbo University. Dr. Bouska joined the Curtis faculty in 2016.
