- Therapy Fund Hotline through RAINN
We realize that for many, access to professional support is a crucial part of the healing process. Curtis has established a therapy fund through RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, to assist survivors with costs related to therapy associated with sexual misconduct experienced during their time at the school. We have also partnered with RAINN for the operation of the Curtis Institute of Music Therapy Fund Hotline. RAINN will prioritize callers’ emotional needs while providing information about the therapy fund and how to access it. An independent, third-party claims administrator will work with RAINN to maintain the anonymity of the survivor, review all claims, and process approved payments to therapists or as reimbursement. All inquiries and financial assistance/reimbursement requests are anonymous, and the Curtis Institute will not receive any information about callers to the Hotline. For further information:
-
- Contact the Curtis Institute of Music Therapy Fund Hotline hosted by RAINN at +1 (844) 986-4246 (toll-free) or +1 (267) 323-4546 (international). This service is available Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.–7 p.m. ET (excluding federal holidays and RAINN closures).
- Contact Curtis’s Title IX Coordinator, Kimberly Gould, at [email protected] or (215) 717-3174

Campus Resources
Please note that access to on-campus resources may be affected by the ongoing pandemic. Refer to the latest COVID-19 protocols for details.
- Campus Access, Tours, and Practice Rooms
Because Lenfest Hall is a mixed-use facility that includes student residences, legal requirements mandate that alumni wishing to practice in this mixed-use facility must have approval from the senior director of scheduling and logistics management. Alumni are not allowed to access the residential floors (5 through 9) unless they are signed in by a residential student.
Curtis alumni are allowed to use the Lenfest Hall practice rooms pending available space, but only after confirmation from the senior director of scheduling and logistics management, Darin Kelly. Approved alumni receive an e-mail of confirmation from the senior director of scheduling and logistics management and must be prepared to show this confirmation to Lenfest Hall security. To reserve a practice room, contact Darin at [email protected].
- Recording
Subject to availability, alumni may use our state-of-the-art recording facilities. Contact Vince Ford, senior vice president of digital strategy and innovation, for more information.
- Complimentary Tickets
Alumni are entitled to complimentary tickets, when available, to Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Curtis Opera Theatre, and Curtis Presents performances. To request tickets please contact [email protected].
- Library Privileges
Alumni who live within approximately a 50-mile radius may have borrowing privileges at the John de Lancie Library in the Milton L. Rock Resource Center with a deposit of $100. For borrowers who move out of the area, library deposits are refunded when all materials have been returned and all fines paid. The library provides a public scanning/printing station at no cost. Copies of student recitals are held on site; alumni are permitted to make copies of recitals in which they performed.
